New Home • Chew Stoke, North Somerset
This was a new dwelling, created from the ruins of a derelict coach house. The client's brief was to build a modern home, using reclaimed and salvaged materials, to give the appearance of an older dwelling so it looked like a barn conversion.
The L shaped house together with the detached double garage created a courtyard to the front and private garden at rear. The use of traditional building forms and reclaimed materials provided a sustainable design and environmentally conscious construction. Full architectural and project management were services provided.
